GAYLESVILLE – Westbrook Christian went on a 12-5 fourth-quarter run to take a 44-35 victory over Collinsville in the Gaylesville Christmas Tournament on Thursday.

Nolan Terrell led the Warriors with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Eli Edge added seven points. Brady Carden and Cooper Green finished with six and five points respectively.

Colton Wills sank three treys and had 13 points to lead Collinsville. Gavin Lang connected on a pair of 3-pointers and finished with nine points.

The game was tight throughout. Westbrook held a 14-11 advantage at the end of the first quarter and a 26-25 edge at halftime. The Warriors led 32-30 headed into the fourth quarter.

Westbrook Christian will face Asbury for the tournament title on Friday at 7 p.m. Collinsville takes on Valley Head in the third-place game at 5:30 p.m.

Donoho 72, Gaylesville 42

GAYLESVILLE – Drew Williamson scored a game-high 31 points to lead the Donoho Falcons to a 72-42 victory over Gaylesville in the Gaylesville Christmas Tournament on Thursday.

Sam Johnson, and Isaiah Smith both netted eight points for the Falcons. Sean Keel came away with seven points and Rich goad finished with six points.

Tanner Eads topped the Trojans with 18 points. Kuper and Kyler Bradley both connected on a pair of 3-pointers and had eight points. Braden Sharp also finished with eight points.

Donoho led at each of the quarter breaks. The Falcons flew out to a 17-8 advantage at the end of the first quarter and held a 34-22 edge at halftime. Donoho held a 54-38 lead after three quarters.

Donoho takes on North Murray in the consolation bracket at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Gaylesville battles Ider at 1 p.m.

Collinsville 47, Gaylesville 16

GAYLESVILLE – Tyla Tatum rang for 25 points, including four 3-pointers, in leading the Collinsville Lady Panthers to a 47-16 victory over Gaylesville in the Gaylesville Christmas Tournament on Thursday.

Sophie Wills added seven points for the Lady Panthers. Shonda Epps led Gaylesville with five points.

Collinsville went on a 12-2 first-quarter run and led 28-7 at halftime. The Lady Panthers held a 37-13 edge after three quarters.

Collinsville faces Valley Head on Friday at 11:30 a.m. Gaylesville takes on Pleasant Valley at 4 p.m.
