CEDAR BLUFF – The 2022 Cherokee County Basketball Invitational, sponsored by Alabama ONE, will be held Dec. 17, 19 and 20 at Cedar Bluff. All five Cherokee County girls and boys teams will participate, in addition to Handley, Breman, Ga., and Talladega County Central.

Admission is $6 per day.

Gaylesville and Bremen’s girls and boys tip off the tournament action on Dec. 17 at 9 and 10:30 a.m. respectively. Cherokee County and Handley’s girls and boys will do battle in the next two games at noon and 1:30 p.m. Sand Rock then takes on Spring Garden in girls and boys action at 3 and 4:30 p.m. respectively. The day’s action concludes with Cedar Bluff and Talladega County Central’s girls and boys at 6 and 7:30 p.m.

Consolation and winners bracket play continues beginning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 19. The tournament concludes on Dec. 20, with play beginning at 9 a.m.
