Details remain sketchy, but Cherokee County authorities are looking for a suspect driving a 1995 burgundy colored Chevy pickup, with front end damage, in connection with an incident occurring around 4:00 am Thursday at a residence on Alabama Highway 9 South.
According to reports, sheriff’s deputies responded to a call reporting an attempted break in at the home with shots being fired through the door; no one was hurt as a result of the gunfire.
