ONEONTA – Appalachian earned a 34-13 Class 1A, Region 7 football win over visiting Cedar Bluff on Friday.
Kade Browning accounted for the Tigers (3-6, 2-4) first score in the first quarter. Hunter Jenkins added Cedar Bluff’s next score on a run later in the quarter. The 2-point try was no good.
Appalachian (5-4, 4-2) took control from there and earned the win, handing the Tigers their fifth consecutive loss.
Cedar Bluff closes out the regular season on Friday at Donoho. Appalachian is at Southeastern.
