Things remained unchanged for three area football teams in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association rankings. The latest poll was released early Wednesday morning.
The Spring Garden Panthers (7-1) are still ranked sixth in the Class 1A rankings. The Panthers host Donoho (4-3) on Friday.
In Class 3A, the Piedmont Bulldogs (5-2) maintained their No. 3 ranking. The Bulldogs, who received a first-place vote, will entertain Geraldine (5-2) on Friday.
The Cherokee County Warriors (6-1) also hold steady at No. 9 in Class 4A, with a showdown against No. 10 Etowah (6-1) looming on Friday.
