Donation Drive for Family Affected by Hurricane Ivan Ends Wednesday

From the Cherokee County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security:

The Cherokee County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments is currently holding a donation drive for a family affected by Hurricane Ian.

The affected family has relatives who reside in Cherokee County. The affected family lives in the Naples and Fort Myers, Florida area.

Each fire department will receive donations at their respective stations from now until October 12th.

If you wish to donate please call the Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency at 256-927-3367, so we can make sure someone is at the fire station to meet you to drop off items.

Items can be dropped off at any of the 13 Cherokee County Fire Stations.

Baby Food
Baby Wipes
Non Perishable Food Items
Diapers
Bug Spray
All Types of Cleaning Supplies
Gloves
Toilet Paper
Paper Towels
Dog Food
Cat Food
