Gaylesville’s homecoming football game against Woodville moved to Thursday

GAYLESVILLE — Due to the chance of inclement weather Friday, Gaylesville will be moving its homecoming  game against Woodville to Thursday Sept. 29 at 7 p.m.

The homecoming parade and community block party that was scheduled Thursday will now be moved to Wednesday, Sept. 28. The parade will start at 4:30 pm. The free meal and community get together will be after the parade on the football field ending at 5:45 p.m.

Gaylesville is still seeking its first win of the season. The Trojans are coming a 19-16 loss at Victory Christian. Woodville is 2-3 and is coming off a 46-6 win over Brindlee Mountain.

The Trojans hold an 11-5 lead in the series, including last year’s 52-28 win.
