Two 18-Wheeler Accidents in DeKalb County on Friday

A logging truck overturned onto its side Friday afternoon in Ft Payne.

That accident took place at Third Street NE and Tyler Avenue, ejecting the driver, the condition of the individual has yet to be released,

The DeKalb County EMA and a variety of emergency agencies responded to the scene   We’ll have more information as it becomes available.

According to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, on Friday around 5:30pm an 18-wheeler was involved in a single-vehicle wreck in DeKalb County, near mile maker 231 on I-59.  Fortunately, no one – including the driver of the 2007 Freightliner, a male resident of Houston, Texas – was hurt in the mishap.

Both wrecks remain under investigation.
