Mr. Gertheran Jerry Deberry age 81 of Piedmont passed away Saturday September 17th at UAB.

Graveside services will be 2 PM Wednesday September 21st at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Rev. Roy Thomas officiating.

Pallbearers will include Jimmy Deberry, Dakota Deberry, Jeremy Berryhill, Logan McDaniel, Frankie Wood and Shannon Thrasher.

Survivors include son, Jason Deberry; daughters, Tammy Smith and Deanna Deberry; brother, Jimmy Deberry; three grandchildren, Jeremy Berryhill, Malinda Deberry an Christopher Deberry; five great-grandchildren, Wyatt McDaniel, Kinsley Berryhill, Kaylee Berryhill, Cason Berryhill and Destiney Berryhill.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Josh Berryhill.

Mr. Deberry was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Alvin and Mildred Deberry and was of the Methodist Faith.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family and the family request no food.
