Mrs. Georgia Mae McDaniel, age 91 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at Atrium Health Floyd.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, September 13th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Hawkins officiating.

Burial will follow at Lawrence Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Kevin McDaniel, Billy McDaniel, Rodney Trotter, Johnathan Abernathy, Chris Rickett, Logan McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers include Timothy Barnes, Justin Barnes, James “Duck” Trotter, Ted Hudgins, Lee McDaniel.

Survivors include his daughters, Joann Trotter (Robert), Debra Abernathy (Ronald), Martha McDaniel, Joyce Rickett; sons, Leonard McDaniel (Sheila), Lester McDaniel (Wanda), Buddy McDaniel (Wendy), Frankie McDaniel (Nina); 29 Grandchildren; 72 Great Grandchildren; 30 Great-Great Grandchildren; chosen son, Preston Pless.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John McDaniel; daughter, Lena Sue McDaniel; sons, David McDaniel, James McDaniel, Royce McDaniel; sister, Eula Mae Henderson; brothers, Leroy Crane, Earnest Crane, Jr.

Ms. McDaniel was the daughter of the late Earnest Crane, Sr. and Ruth Mae Crane. She was a native of Cedar Bluff and was of the Baptist faith.
