Alabama Power is currently offering customers up to $200 as a reimbursement when you purchase a smart thermostat. 

Smart thermostats regulate heating and cooling to mirror the homeowners schedule, and also allows customers to remotely control the temperature from anywhere.  According to the company website, to qualify, customers simply must submit proof of purchase on or before December 1st (2022); the proof must include a purchase date, brand and model, and the amount paid.   Apartments and mobile homes are not eligible.

The reimbursement amount will be based on the price paid for the thermostat, not to exceed $200, and will be given as a digital gift card sent via e-mail.    Again, this is for customers of Alabama Power ONLY.
