The DeKalb County Emergency Management Agency has issued an Evacuation Order, in effect for approximately 1,000 feet from the intersection of Highways 35 and 75, in Rainsville. That warning was issued at around 10:30 on Thursday morning due to a HazMat spill which has caused a “threat to life” safety situation.
Everyone should avoid approaching the Rainsville red light area.
