Alabama State Troopers responded to two separate accidents that involved injuries on Tuesday in DeKalb County.
The first, taking place at 6:45pm, involved a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer that left the road – jumped a ditch and struck an embankment. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, the driver, listed as a male resident of Gadsden, was air-lifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. No additional information regarding his condition has been released.
A two-vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 75 at 11:15pm left one person injured. That wreck involved a 1998 Jeep being driven by a male resident of Boaz and a 2008 Toyota driven by a male resident of Dawson. Both drivers escaped injury; however a passenger in the Jeep was listed as being hurt in the crash.
No additional information has been released.
Both wrecks remain under investigation by troopers.
