Mrs. Debra Brooks age 63 passed away Monday August 2nd at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM this Friday August 5th at Perry Funeral Home
Chapel with Aaron Stoner officiating, and burial will follow in Weiss Lake Memorial Garden.

Pallbearers include Cruz Butts, Jared Butts, Blake Butts, Bama Butts, Charlie Chambers and Issac Hamilton.

Survivors include two grandsons, Bobby (Haleigh) Brooks and Tyler (Sara) Brooks; one great-grandson, Will Brooks; sister, Mary Butts; brothers, Chris (Dorothy) Butts, Kenneth (Amanda) Butts, Jason Butts and Joseph Butts; sisters-in-laws, Bethann Brooks and Sandra Butts; nephews, Cruz, Blake, Bama, Jared and Copelan Butts, Brandon Tyde Stoner, Bradley and Aaron Butts, Aaron (Maddison) Stoner; nieces, Keri Jordan, Lexus Butts and Alyssa Stoner;  lifelong best friend, Rhonda Jackson
Leiva; special friends, Marilyn Sprayberry and Carolyn Hanks.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years William Lawerance Brooks; son, Billy Brooks; brother, James Butts, brothers-in-laws, Larry Brooks and Jim Taylor; nephew, Brandon Stoner.

Mrs. Brooks was a native of Rome, Ga. and the daughter of the late Ronnie and Joan Butts and was of the Baptist Faith. Debra loved good 70’ Rock and Roll music and Alabama football.
