Just before 12:30 Tuesday afternoon McCords, Ellisville and Spring Creek firefighters were dispatched to reports of a structure fire on County Road 13 just off 411 north.
Atrium/Floyd EMS was also dispatched to that location with a warning being given to those responding that a propane tank was situated directly behind the home. Early reports indicated that fire appeared to be confined to the interior of the home – and was not yet fully involved.
Cherokee Electric workers quickly turned off power at the location – we’ll have more information as it becomes available.
