Mr. David Rickett, age 75 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on Thursday July 28th at Floyd Cherokee Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Monday August 1st at Lawrence Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Rickett; daughters, Carol Ann Calaway Holbrook (Steven) and Belinda (Bob) Gilman; one sister, Donnie Faye Smith; 4 grandchildren, Kenneth Inman (Patrick Cline), Kayla Inman – Snead (Caridean Snead- Inman), Katelynn Marie Holbrook and Nancy Faye Holbrook; 2 great-grandchildren, Connor and Charlize Bakes; special friend, Peggy Martin.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, JW, and BR Rickett; sisters, Ruth Graves and Ellen “Lo” Rickett.
Mr. Rickett was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Herman Brown and Mable Rickett and was of the Baptist Faith.
