We had reports of a high-speed chase taking place Friday night coming into Cherokee County out of Georgia.
It appears the chase was initiated by the Floyd County Police Department in the Cave Spring area with the suspect heading south on 29 into Alabama with local authorities taking part in the pursuit.
We understand that the individual was eventually apprehended and jailed – we have reached out to the Sheriff’s Office for additional information.
