A large law enforcement presence is now on the scene at the CED Metal Health Center on Dean Buttram Sr. Avenue in Centre.
We understand the threat was received via email this morning with the facility being immediately placed on “lock-down”. It appears the sender of the e-mail arrived at the front door of the building a short time later. Fortunately the door was locked and that person was unable to gain entry.
At this time, law enforcement officials are speaking with the subject; we’ll have more on this story as it develops.
