A Cherokee County man was injured in an accident occurring late Tuesday afternoon, involving a Yamaha golf cart and a 2001 Dodge Caravan.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report – the wreck took place at approximately 5:30pm, on County Road 41 – with the person on the golf cart, a resident of Gaylesville, being taken for treatment following the collision meanwhile the driver of the other vehicle, also a resident of Gaylesville, was unhurt. No additional information regarding the extent of the injured party’s injuries has yet been released,
That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
