Mr. Robert Edward “Ed” McCain, age 82 of Cedar Bluff, passed away
Friday July 8, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. (EST) Tuesday July 12, 2022
at Good Shepherd Funereal Home Chapel, with Dr. Mark Cosby, officiating.

Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Coosa Lodge conducting Masonic services.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M.
(EST) until the hour of service on Tuesday at Good Shepherd Funeral
Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.

Survivors include his daughters, Leanne McCain, Amy (Elbert) McCollough,
grandchildren, Michael Richardson, Luke Richardson, Austin McCollough,
Colin McCollough, brother-in-law, Wayne Comer, great grandchildren,
Rhett Richardson, Raegan Richardson, Bennett McCullough, several nieces
and nephews also survive.

There will be a called communication for Coosa Masonic Lodge #622 F&AM on
Tuesday at 2:00 P.M.

Ed was born November 24, 1939, Floyd County, a son of the late Wallace
McCain, and Melvina Armstrong McCain. He was a member of Mt. Alto
Baptist Church, and was retired from BE&K Construction Company after
several years of service. Ed was a member of Coosa Masonic Lodge #622
F&AM, and a 1960 graduate of Coosa High School.

He was preceded in death
by his wife Evelyn Hudgins McCain, in November of 2015, sister, Pat
Comer, brothers, Charles, Clyde, and Tory McCain.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
