A person riding a bicycle along US Highway 431 early Friday was fatally injured when they were struck by an automobile. The driver of the vehicle did not stop. The accident occurred just after 2 AM. The Sardis Police Department is the leading agency in the homicide investigation with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency assisting with the case.
