Emergency personnel units were dispatched to a report of a house fire in Cedar Bluff at around 8:30 Friday morning. Firefighters arrived to find the home, located just off County Road 131 on Lake Place Drive behind the Country Store, already engulfed in flames.
A car parked in the driveway received extensive damage and the residence itself was a total loss – fortunately, no one was hurt.
The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
