AL.COM – Today (Friday, June 24th) the U.S. Supreme Court today overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 ruling that legalized abortion nationwide.

The 6-3 vote overturned Roe v. Wade and a related case that protected the right to abortion, the 1992 decision Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
