Cherokee County Arrest Files:
Donald Mitchell, age 40 of Gadsden – Attempting to Elude Police and Giving False Information to a Law Enfforcement Officer;
Heather Simonds, age 41 of Cave Spring, Georgia – Failure to Appear;
Johnny Sims, age 32 of Piedmont – Failure to Appear on previous charges of Failing to Register a Vehicle, Driving Suspended and an Insurance Violation.
Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
Currently there are 88 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
