The Monday morning meeting of the Cherokee County Commission was a brief affair, with only three items on the agenda, consisting of two resignations, and one business matter.
Troy Patterson tendered his resignation with the Human Resources Board and Jacob Crump tendered his resignation with the County’s Industrial Development Authority. Both are six year terms – with the Human Resources position ending in September of 2023 and the IDA position ending in January of 2023. Both appointments will be announced during the July 11th Commission meeting, and submittal of resumes, letters and so on will be accepted through close of business the Wednesday prior, July 6th.
The commissioners also approved insolvents, errors & taxes in litigation for 2021, as well as uncollected insolvents & taxes in litigation for previous years.
