Gasoline prices continue to rise at the pump; however, the demand is still growing as consumers fuel up for the summer driving season – that dynamic between decreased supply and increased demand is contributing to rising prices; and that, coupled with increasing crude oil prices means the price of gasoline will likely remain elevated for the near future.

According to AAA the average price of gasoline TODAY (Monday, June 13th) stands at $5.01 a gallon and in Alabama the current average is $4.63 a gallon.

In Cherokee County, www.gasbuddy.com lists prices ranging from $4.49 to $4.69 a gallon.
