A 34 year old Chattooga County, Georgia man was arrested after allegedly grabbing a hatchet, breaking a vase – and then telling his grandmother “I’m going to bust all the windows out” .
Deputies responded to a residence on the Lyerly Highway on Wednesday – and found Albert Lee Dupree with hatchet in hand. Deputies told Dupree they needed to talk to him and he told deputies they had nothing to talk about; after a threat by the deputy to use a taser, Dupree decided to comply.
The grandmother said Dupree cleaned his room and he was making something to eat when he went into his room and came out with a hatchet and broke a vase. He then told his grandmother he was going to bust windows. According to that report from the sheriff’s office, Dupree did break the window out of one vehicle.
He was arrested, and charged with criminal damage to property second degree.
