High Path Avian Influenza (HPAI) has been identified in Georgia.

It’s strongly advised for all small flock owners to immediately implement biosecurity measures on their property and curtail interactions with other birds – both wild and domestic – for the time being to minimize the spread of this disease. Pay close attention to footwear – use cleanable/disinfect-able footwear or disposable boots and footbaths at their chicken coops.
