Cherokee County Arrest Files:

James Crane, age 55 of Cedar Bluff – Public Intoxication;

Douglas Anderson, age 50 of Ft Payne – Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to a Probation Revocation;

Levi Prather, age 33 of Centre – Burglary 3rd Degree (two counts) and Theft of Property 1st Degree (two counts);

Joseph Richards, age 31 of Cedartown, Georgia – Domestic Violence 3rd Degree 9 four counts), Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

and

Heather Shedd, age 46 of Gaylesville – Theft of Property 3rd Degree (two counts) and Burglary 3rd Degree (two counts)

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty on a court of law

Currently there are 86 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
