The Great Escapes, Chestnut Bay, RV Resort and Pirates Bay Water Park, on Saturday, held their “soft” grand opening with the rides and amenities being open to all regular customers.

State Representative Ginny Shaver was on hand for the special event, and she shared this with those in attendance:

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Theresa Hulgan along with Leeburg Mayor Brandi Pierce, and a host of others were there to enjoy the day, which included FREE refreshments, live music and much more.

General Manager Tabitha Holloway also welcomed everyone and officially kicked off the days activities:

The Resort was recently sold to the Great Escapes RV Resorts and RV Campground of Houston, Texas and the official Grand Opening will take place on Saturday, May 28th, as part of the Memorial Day Weekend.

The resort is located at 4541 County Road 147 in Leesburg.
