Cedar Bluff boys finish fourth in Class 1A state track and field meet in Cullman

CULLMAN – Cedar Bluff’s boys track and field team finished fourth out of 29 schools in the Class 1A state meet in Cullman over the weekend.

The Tigers tallied a total of 42 points. Lindsey Lane won the boys 1A meet with 97 points, followed by Winterboro (78.5) and Marion County (58).

The 4×100 and 4×400 meter relay teams led the Tigers. Both finished in first place with times of 45.59 seconds and 3:48.14 respectively.

In the individual events, Austin Richardson won the pole vault (10-00). He also finished fourth in the 1600 meter (5:05.50) and seventh in the 800 meter (2:14.35).

Michael Adams took third in the triple jump (39-02.75). He was also 17th in the 400 meter (58.24).

Cody Bias finished fifth in the 300 meter hurdles (50.84).

Nick Clifton came in seventh in the 100 meter (11.54). He was also 21st in the 200 meter (26.66) and 21st in the discus (86-04).

Aden Green earned eighth in the javelin (129-07). He was also ninth in the high jump (5-04), 15th in the long jump (16-04.25), and 22nd in the 400 meter (1:00.50).

Kade Browning came in ninth in the 200 meter (24.64). He also finished 11th in the boys 100 meter (11.84).

Artie Duval delivered a pair of 11th place outings in the 200 meter (24.94) and the 400 meter (56.89). He was also 15th in the shot put (34-02.50).

Dylan Kinard claimed 12th in the discus (103-03). He was also 19th in the javelin (103-00).

Carter Dillingham came in 17th in the discus (96-11). He was also 19th in the shot put (33-06.50).
The Lady Tigers finished 26th in the 1A girls meet.

Skye Jordan led Cedar Bluff’s girls with a sixth-place showing in the 400 meter (1:05.89). She was also 11th in the 200 meter (29.30) and 18th in the long jump (12-00).

Cassandra Davis was 17th in the long jump (12-00).
