Leesburg Police arrested a Cherokee County resident on a number of drug charges in the early Sunday morning hours of Sunday.

Kristie Henderson, age 44 of Leesburg, was jailed just prior to 4:00am on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

She currently remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center on bond of $3,500
