One person was seriously injured following a four wheeler accident in Sand Rock on Saturday. The mishap occurred just after 6:30 that evening on County Road 48.

The Sand Rock Fire Department, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers were called to the scene. The victim reportedly suffered from a head injury.

There was also an accident reported on Keener Drive near Bristow Gap Road in Leesburg just after 11:30 Saturday morning. The Leesburg Fire Department, Leesburg Police and Floyd EMS responded to that scene.

A two vehicle crash was reported on Main Street in Centre just after 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Centre Police and Fire in addition to Floyd EMS responded. It appears that no one was injured. There was also a two vehicle accident reported near Kerr’s Redi Mix a short time later with one person possibly having been injured.
