SCOTTSBORO – The Piedmont Lady Bulldogs placed third and the Bulldog boys were fifth in the Class 3A, Section 4 track and field meet in Scottsboro on Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Bulldogs earned a total of 74 points. لعبة مباشر J.B. Pennington finished first with 91 points, followed by Ohatchee in second place with 77 points.
The Bulldog boys tallied 68 points. Holly Pond won the boys meet with 123 points, followed by Ohatchee (106), Hokes Bluff (92) and J.B. Pennington (84).
In the girls events, Ashllyn Adderhold led the Lady Bulldogs with first-place finishes in the triple jump (32-2.25) and the pole vault (8-6). She also tied for second in the high jump (4-6).
Lexi Ray finished second in the pole vault (8-6).
Mattie Todd took second in the 1600 meter (6:00.86) and third in the 3200 meter (3:06.52).
Hannah Barbee earned third in the 100 meter hurdles (18.79). She was also ninth in the 300 meter hurdles (59.31) and 15th in the long jump (12-8.50).
Emily Barbee took third in the triple jump (29-0). She was also 20th in the long jump (12-4).
The Lady Bulldogs 4×400 team came in sixth with a time of 4:54.24.
Lele Ridley also earned sixth in the javelin (96-1). Katie Brown claimed seventh in the high jump (4-4) and 12th in the 400 meter (1:10.44).
Gracie Naugher finished eighth in the 300 meter hurdles (59.11). She was also 23rd in the long jump (12-2).
Allie Hayes had an 11th-place finish in the 300 meter hurdles (1:00.31). Dezstany Diamond was 17th in the 400meter (1:11.26). Josie Young was 22nd in the javelin (49-3.50) and Savannah Rodabaugh finished 28th in the 400 meter (1:18.12).
In the boys events, Ishmel Bethel finished first in both the high jump (6-2) and triple jump (41-9). He was also third in the 200 meter (23.56) and eighth in the long jump (18-7.50).

Braden McDaniel finished fourth in the discus (111-5).
Caiden Cardelli came in fifth in the 800 meter (2:09.41). He was also eighth in the 400 meter (55.60).
Sam Tolbert took fifth in the shotput (39-0).
Cody Holloway had a sixth-place showing in the long jump (19-2). He was also seventh in the 110 meter hurdles (20.09).
Jaylon Sherrill earned sixth in the discus (109-8). He was also 15th in the shot put (32-10.50).
Jalen Helm had a seventh-place outing in the long jump (18-11.50).
John David Taylor took 13th in the 3200 meter (13:15.27). He was also 17th in the 800 meter (2:22.03) and 17th in the 1600 meter (5:36.23).
Tanner Curvin came in 16th in the shotput (32-7). Caleb Tidwell was 18th in the 400 meter (1:00.23) and Chase Cardelli finished 18th in the 800 meter (2:24.03).
