On Friday, WEIS Radio spoke briefly with State Representative Ginny Shaver who provided an update on the Highway 411 project.
Shaver said that the Joint Transportation Committee met on Wednesday, and received an update on Rebuild Alabama projects. The 4- lane project on Hwy 411 continues to be on schedule and is about the halfway point.
Barring any unforseen problems, the targeted completion date has been moved up to the end of this year.
Representative Shaver said that she will continue to proved additional updates as they are available.
