RAGLAND – Spring Garden senior shortstop Neely Welsh belted two homers, a double and drove in five runs in the Lady Panthers’ 10-3 softball win at Ragland on Thursday.
Madison Brown also homered, walked and drove in a pair of runs for the Lady Panthers. Bri Boles went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run and a RBI. Abbey and Avery Steward both had a pair of hits. Avery Steward also scored a run. Kayley Kirk contributed a hit and scored three runs. Layla Ingram had a hit and drove in a run. Maggie Jarrett finished with a hit.
Avery Steward earned the win in the circle. She gave up three earned runs on 11 hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
