Chad Steed is about to be Cherokee County’s best kept secret – no more.
Steed has long been known as one of the best all around entertainers across the area, from appearing locally in a number of TheatreCentre productions and festivals to entertaining thousands at Dollywood. He has been concentrating on honing his singer/songwriter talents – releasing his debut solo EP – and he appeared on the WEIS Radio Morning Show early Wednesday, to discuss “Burning Bridges” with host Jerry Baker.
Growing up in a small town in northeast Alabama, Chad Steed has been deeply rooted in music since childhood. Surrounded by the sounds of Folk, Blue Grass, Country, Southern Rock, and Gospel music, Chad quickly developed a love for all genres. Drawing much inspiration from his Southern Baptist upbringing, Chad’s soulful, gospel style pairs well with his country influences like Alabama and Travis Tritt.
