Sand Rock softball falls short at Fyffe

FYFFE – EllaGrace Hood delivered a pair of hits, a walk, a run and three RBIs, but they weren’t enough to lead the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a softball win at Fyffe on Monday. The Lady Wildcats fell short by the final of 6-4.

Aliyah King and Sherina Foster also contributed two hits apiece. King also had a RBI. Rylin StClair collected a hit, a walk and a run. Jadyn Foster came away with a hit and scored a pair of runs. Emma Sipsy finished with a hit.

Jadyn Foster suffered the loss after working three innings. She gave up two earned runs on three hits with a walk and a strikeout. Hood also tossed three innings and gave up an earned run on two hits with no walks and three strikeouts.

Sand Rock is scheduled to play at Cherokee County on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
