Cherokee County Authorities Still Searching for Nick Silvers

Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver and Sheriff’s Office investigators are still looking for a person of interest in connection with a murder that took place in March, outside of Centre.

Hooper, 28 of Centre, was placed in the Cherokee County Jail April 14th after being extradited from jail in Polk County, Georgia.  Hooper has been charged with Murder, and is currently being held on bond of $1,500,000

According to Sheriff Shaver, Polk County, Georgia, road crew workers discovered the body of Lachancey Williams, 40 of Cedartown, while doing road work along Esom Hill Road on March 15th.
