Alabama State Troopers Respond to Two Accidents with Injuries Sunday in Cherokee County

Alabama State Troopers responded to two separate, single-vehicle crashes occurring Sunday in Cherokee County – both involving injuries.

The first mishap took place at 5:00am on County Road 77, and involved a 2010 Chevy being driven by a female resident of Centre, while the second involved a 2007 Honda, being driven by a male resident of Lyerly, Georgia; that accident was on County Road 41 at approximately 2:10pm.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports, each driver had to be taken for treatment afterwards.

Those wrecks remain under investigation by troopers.
