Various Crews are set to resume searching the Coosa River early Monday morning at around 8:00 (April 18th), for the individual who reportedly jumped off the Memorial Bridge in Gadsden over the weekend. According to law enforcement officials, several eyewitnesses say they saw the person leap from the bridge on Broad Street just before 5:30pm Saturday
The Gadsden Fire Department and several other departments – along with members of the Gadsden PD, Etowah County Sheriff’s Office and State of Alabama Marine Police joined search efforts. No additional information is being released at this time.
