OXFORD – Sand Rock’s Jadyn Foster etched her name in the state record book Friday night. She homered twice in the same inning and had three consecutive at-bats with home run in leading the Lady Wildcats to tournament wins over Ashville and North Jackson in Oxford.

Foster, who went a perfect 5-for-5 in both games at the plate, went 3-for-3 with two homers, three runs and four RBIs, and EllaGrace Hood also tossed a no-hitter against Ashville in the Lady Wildcats’ 12-0 victory. Foster was 2-for-2 with a homer, a walk and two RBIs in the Lady Wildcats also held off North Jackson 3-2.

In the win over Ashville, Katelyn StClair added a homer and a double with two runs and three RBIs. Rylin StClair doubled and had two RBIs.

Briley Knight contributed a hit, a run and two RBIs. Aliyah King and Emma Sipsy added a hit and a run apiece. Sherina Foster had a hit. Lacey Barnette and Lily Clanton both walked twice and scored a run apiece.

Hood walked two and struck out six in four innings of work.

In the victory over North Jackson, Katelyn StClair contributed a pair of hits and a run. Hood, Barnette and Sherina Foster each added a hit. Hood and King also earned a walk apiece.

Jadyn Foster also picked up the win in the circle. She surrendered an earned run on three hits with no walks and seven strikeouts.
