GAYLESVILLE – Andrea Calvert tripled and had a pair of bunt singles with two RBIs. She also picked up the win in the circle after tossing three innings in the Gaylesville Lady Trojans’ 19-8 area softball win over visiting Valley Head on Thursday.
Gracelyn Drake had two hits and two RBIs for the Lady Trojans. Jayden Dobbins doubled with three RBIs. Sydney Smith had a double with three RBIs. Gracie Dawson posted a pair of hits. Sierra Holbrook added a double and a RBI. Anna Hartline contributed a double. Peyton Bright finished with a hit.
Delaney Coker tossed the final two innings and allowed no runs.
Gaylesville hosts North Sand Mountain on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
