Sand Rock pounds out 23 hits in blowout softball win at Gadsden City

GADSDEN – Jadyn Foster went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, including a home run and a double, with three runs and six RBIs. She also captured the win in the circle after working three innings, giving up two earned runs on five hits with a walk and six strikeouts in Sand Rock’s 22-5 softball win at Gadsden City on Thursday.

The Lady Wildcats pounded out 23 hits in the game. They scored eight runs in the third inning to blow the game open and 13 more in the top of the fifth to help end it.

Briley Knight collected four hits, including a double, with two runs and three RBIs. EllaGrace Hood had three hits, including a triple, with three runs and four RBIs. Katelyn StClair also contributed three hits, including a triple and a double, with three runs. Emma Sipsy added three hits, including double, with two runs and two RBIs.

Sherina Foster contributed two hits, including a triple, with three runs and a RBI. Aliyah King had a hit, a walk, three runs and two RBIs. Bailey Kilgore finished with a hit and two RBIs.
