An Etowah County resident was injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Cherokee County on Thursday night.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report that mishap took place around 8:30pm on Alabama Highway 278 involving a 2004 Honda being driven by a female from Gadsden.   No additional information regarding the extent of her injuries was available,

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
