UPDATED| Severe Threat Downgraded To Slight Risk

While the confidence for tornado activity today remains low, there’s still a chance we could see a tornado or two throughout Cherokee County. The higher confidence threats are damaging winds and hail up to a half dollar in size.

Any thunderstorm development has an increased potential to be severe so with any Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued you should take it seriously and seek shelter in a safe place.
