The Marshall County Coroner’s Office is reporting that a seven year old girl has been fatally injured in an ATV accident taking place Tuesday night.

The incident, which occurred at around 7:30pm on Brock Road in Boaz, sent an adult to the hospital and resulted in the child being pronounced dead at the scene.  Neither individual has been identified and authorities say the name of the seven year old will not be released. 

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas Police and Fire Department units, and Alabama State Troopers responded to the crash – which remains under investigation by troopers.
