Cedar Bluff School Has A New Principal

Cedar Bluff School has a new Principal. During the Wednesday meeting of the Cherokee County School Board, former Cedar Bluff Staff member Torey McDaniel was unanimously approved to fill the position being by current Principal Rusty Thrasher who is retiring.

McDaniel had been serving as the Assistant Principal at Spring Garden School before accepting the position at Cedar Bluff.

In other business, the Board adopted to accept English Language Arts Testbooks from McGraw Hill, approved minutes from the previous meeting and approved Professional Development.

Superintendent Mike Welsh also announced the retirements of Bus Driver Wayne Clayton with ten and a half years of service and Lynn Morrison who served as a Paraprofessional at Centre Elementary School and has 25 years of service in Cherokee County.
