Officers/Firefighters Show Their Support To The Son Of Fallen Cedar Bluff Police Officer

Following the recent passing of Cedar Bluff Police Sgt. Chris Vaughn, several officers, deputies and firefighters from across the area showed up on Monday night to show their support and cheer on Vaughn’s son Brayden as he played his first baseball game.

Officers wanted to show their support out of respect for Chris and to cheer for Brayden since his daddy couldn’t be there.

In a Facebook over the weekend, Vaughn’s wife Ariel wrote “I want to thank everyone for their kind words, thoughts, and prayers. They are felt, my boys sure are proud of their daddy and seeing everyone speaks so highly of him makes them even more proud. There’s so much more I want to say, I just can’t seem to put the words together. It hurts. Please continue to pray for my family.”

Funeral services for Sgt. Vaughn will be held 2PM, Thursday April 7th, at Perry Funeral Home Chapel.
