GAYLESVILLE – The Gaylesville Lady Trojans defeated Valley Head 16-1 in three innings to pick up a Class 1A, Area 13 softball win on Monday.
Anna Hartline delivered a pair of hits for the Lady Trojans. Andreah Calvert tripled and drove in a pair of runs. Gracelyn Drake added a hit and two RBIs. Peyton Bright had a hit and a RBI. Jayden Dobbins finished with a hit.
Delaney Coker earned the win in the circle with seven strikeouts in the three innings of work.
Gaylesville travels to Cedar Bluff for an area game on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
